5 Harvard Business School Review That You Need Immediately to Find Research and Study I recently attended an event at the Waldorf Astoria, where a group of 12-16 students and designers presented ideas of how they might increase an audience’s interest in solving real-world problems with a display solution. I was especially struck by a remark by a lecturer-in-training who mentioned the term “study evidence” literally a hundred times (this was relevant because researchers who look into this subject often use it that way). Before I could reproduce the wording, however, she grabbed at my arm and demanded me confirm her statement with verbatim text before stating, “I have a firm view on the issue.” Before she could finish her sentence, she was interrupted by her undergraduate professor–bobbing, “How can you teach a theoretical study the way this is important for its effects?” and taking the whole “study evidence” as a cue to go on harassing her: “Are you actually taking another study?” This can be taken as evidence, but by the same token, it is a crucial and possibly more consequential feature of this small study study that led to this negative response
